These Terms of Service (“Terms”) form a legally binding agreement between you (“you”, “your”) and the operator of RankMyAnswer AI (“RankMyAnswer”, “we”, “us”, “our”). By creating an account, accessing the dashboard at app.rankmyanswer.com, or using any RankMyAnswer service, API, or output, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the service.
You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a contract. If you use RankMyAnswer on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization, and “you” refers to both you and that organization.
You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access. We may suspend or terminate accounts that appear compromised or that are used in breach of these Terms.

RankMyAnswer retains all rights, title, and interest in the platform, including all software, designs, models, prompts, documentation, and trademarks. You retain ownership of content you submit (“User Content”). You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, process, and transmit User Content as necessary to provide the service. Outputs generated by RankMyAnswer on your behalf (“Generated Content”) are licensed to you for any lawful use, subject to the policies of the underlying AI providers we route to.
RankMyAnswer routes work to third-party providers (LLMs, search APIs, content syndication platforms, payment processors). Their availability, accuracy, and policies are outside our control. We are not responsible for outputs, downtime, or actions of those providers. Use of their results is at your own risk.
Use of RankMyAnswer is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, RankMyAnswer disclaims all warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including without limitation warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, non-infringement, and any warranty arising from course of dealing or usage of trade.
We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error- free, secure, or that defects will be corrected. Outputs from AI providers may be inaccurate, incomplete, or biased; you are solely responsible for evaluating them before use.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event will RankMyAnswer, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, or suppliers be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including without limitation lost profits, lost data, lost business, lost goodwill, or business interruption, however caused and on any theory of liability (contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or otherwise), even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our aggregate liability arising out of or related to these Terms or the service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid RankMyAnswer in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) one hundred US dollars ($100). The existence of multiple claims does not enlarge this cap.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless RankMyAnswer and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to (a) your use of the service, (b) your User Content, (c) your violation of these Terms or any law, or (d) your infringement of any third-party right.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the service at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice, including for any breach of these Terms. You may terminate your account at any time by cancelling all subscriptions and ceasing use of the service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including IP, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity, arbitration, and class-action waiver) survive.
Please read this section carefully. It affects your rights, including waiver of jury trial and class actions.
Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the service, including the determination of the scope or applicability of this agreement to arbitrate, shall be determined by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) in accordance with its Commercial Arbitration Rules then in effect.
The seat and legal place of arbitration shall be Newark, New Jersey, USA. The arbitration shall be conducted in the English language by a single arbitrator. The arbitrator's award shall be final and binding, and judgment on the award may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction.
You and RankMyAnswer each waive any right to a jury trial. You and RankMyAnswer each waive any right to participate as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class, collective, consolidated, or representative action. The arbitrator may not consolidate more than one person's claims and may not preside over any form of a representative or class proceeding. If this class-action waiver is found unenforceable, the entire arbitration agreement is null and void.
Notwithstanding the above, either party may bring an individual action in small-claims court for disputes within that court's jurisdiction, and either party may seek emergency injunctive relief in court to protect intellectual property or confidential information pending arbitration.
You may opt out of arbitration within thirty (30) days of first accepting these Terms by emailing legal@rankmyanswer.comwith the subject “Arbitration Opt-Out” and your account email. Opting out does not affect any other provision of these Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Subject to Section 13, the state and federal courts located in Newark, New Jersey have exclusive jurisdiction over any matter not subject to arbitration.
We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be announced in-app and you will be required to accept the updated Terms before continuing to use the service. Continued use after the effective date of any update constitutes acceptance.
